If given the chance we always take the extra time to ride the ferry. It's a fast ride (8min or so) but while waiting to get on you can stroll the lakeside or get some ice cream.
Cross the fariry and let the kids go on the pedestrian walk while someone drives across and they play 15 mins in the fun by the lake. -Kevin Y & Kids
Can be a very long wait at times which really isnt the best. but they also have an ice cream place on both side which is fun.
There are really yummy ice cream places on both sides but the lines can get long, you only need to do it once really.
Great way to cross the water. We enjoy it. Second time here. Will definitely do it again.
